January 2008 Pin Trading Night and Show and Sale
10/24/2007 9:56 PM ESTBe sure to mark your calendars and join us for the NFFC's annual January California event, to be held January 19th - 20th, 2008, at the Anaheim Crowne Plaza Resort in Garden Grove, CA.
We'll kick things off on Saturday evening, January 19th, with a night of pin trading from 6:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. Everyone is invited to bring their pins and "let the trading begin!" In addition, the NFFC Board of Directors and Special Events Committee will be hosting a pin board similar to the ones at Disneyland and Walt Disney World.
In addition, you are invited to be a part of what just could be the newest trading rage….DISNEY BUTTONS! Remember buttons, with their beautiful artwork? We will be doing button trading along with the pin trading, so get busy looking through those bins and drawers of old buttons and bring some along to trade on Saturday evening.
Even if you aren't into pin trading (or button trading, for that matter), it still will be a great evening to drop by and catch up with your friends in our Hospitality Suite, which will be open and serving light refreshments. And who knows -- maybe this will be the night that you finally give in and start pin trading! Either way, it promises to be an evening filled with fun, friends, and all things Disney…what could be better?
Then, on Sunday, January 20th, we will be hosting our biannual Strictly Disneyana Show and Sale at the Crowne Plaza. NFFC members will have exclusive entrance to the Show and Sale from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m., and then the show will be open to the general public from 10:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Admission will be $5 for NFFC members and $6 for the public.
Make plans now to join us in Garden Grove for the weekend of January 19th and 20th, 2008. And don't forget to mark your calendars and start planning to attend the annual California Convention, from July 15th through the 20th. It promises to be an exciting week as always.
