NFFC Looking For Members to Serve on 2009-2011 Board of Directors

The NFFC nominating committee is looking for  members who are willing to make a two-year commitment to lead our club. We are seeking responsible task-oriented individuals to devote their time and energy to the NFFC in the following positions:

President- Shall preside at all meetings of the Club, and all meetings of the Board. The President shall name all appointive positions and shall name signers to the financial accounts of the Club, subject to the approval of the Board. The President shall supervise all officers and appointive positions to insure full completion of their duties.
 
Vice‑President of Finance- Shall act as Treasurer and manage all financial matters of the Club. The Vice‑President of Finance shall collect and have custody of all funds of the Club and shall deposit the same in accounts designated by the Board. The Vice‑President of Finance shall submit a brief account of all receipts and expenditures at all regular meetings. The Vice‑President of Finance shall chair the Finance Committee and appoint an assistant chair.
 
Vice‑President Media Relations and Communications- Shall manage all public relations and publicity concerning the Club. The Vice‑President Media Relations and Communications shall prepare an annual publicity and marketing plan. The Vice‑President Media Relations and Communications shall chair the Media Relations and Communications Committee and appoint an assistant chair.
 
Vice‑President of Chapters- Shall coordinate the formation of new chapters, and shall promote the continued growth of existing chapters. The Vice‑President of Chapters shall bring related matters before the Board and shall prepare an annual chapter development report. The Vice‑President of Chapters shall chair the Chapters Committee and appoint an assistant chair
 
Vice‑President of Membership- Shall manage all membership activities. The Vice‑President of Membership shall keep records of the membership, develop membership materials, and shall prepare an annual membership report. The Vice-President of Membership shall chair the Membership Committee and appoint an assistant chair.
 
Secretary- Shall process all correspondence received by the Club, and shall record the minutes of all meetings, whether held in person or by electronic means. The Secretary shall serve as Sergeant‑at‑Arms for all meetings.
 
Editor‑in‑Chief- Shall coordinate all publications and website content of the Club. The Editor‑in‑Chief shall chair the Publications Committee and appoint an assistant chair.
 
Convention Coordinator- Shall create a budget for and otherwise supervise all conventions. The Convention Coordinator shall chair Convention Committees and shall appoint an assistant chair for each convention.
 
Special Events Chair- Shall create a budget for and otherwise supervise all special event activities separate from conventions. The Special Events Chair shall chair the Special Events Committee and appoint an assistant chair for each event.
 
Webmaster- Shall bear responsibility for designing and maintaining the NFFC website and for assisting the Editor‑in‑Chief in posting updates on the website. The Webmaster may chair a Website Committee and shall provide an annual report to the Board.
 
Directors‑at‑Large- Shall serve in any capacity as deemed necessary by the Board of Directors.
 
Legends Chair- Shall serve as an appointed ex officio member of the Board, to be selected by the President, subject to the approval of the Board, bearing responsibility for timely identifying and recommending prospective Disney Legends to be selected by the Board for recognition by the Club, for supervising the Luncheon with a Disney Legend Program, and for maintaining communications with past Disney Legend award recipients. The Legends Chair shall chair the Legends Committee, appoint an assistant chair, and report to the Board on a regular basis.
 
Charities Chair- Shall serve as an appointed ex officio member of the Board, to be selected by the President, subject to the approval of the Board, bearing responsibility for working with those charities selected by the Board and helping to identify ways to contribute to said charities, financially or otherwise. The Charities Chair shall chair the Charities Committee and shall provide an annual report to the Board.

The term of office for the next NFFC Board of Directors is July 2009 through July 2011.
