NORTH HOLLYWOOD, California—August 8, 2008—National Fantasy Fan Club (NFFC) President Kendra Trahan, Special Events Committee Chair Anita Schaengold, and Vice President of Media Relations and Communications Chuck Oberleitner are featured guests on Episode 233, the current edition of MousePlanet.com's MouseStation Podcast.
MouseStation producer Steven Ng interviewed Trahan, Schaengold, and Oberleitner on the last day of the NFFC Western Disneyana Convention, Show, and Sale 2008.
During his interview, Ng talked to Trahan about her job as NFFC President, along with her career as a writer. Trahan is the author of two books, Disneyland Detective and the soon to be released Disney's California Adventure Detective.
During her interview, Trahan told Ng about the NFFC's increasing East Coast activities and expanding presence at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. In October, the organization will host its third annual Eastern Disneyana Convention, Show, and Sale called Florida Adventurer in honor of the convention's closing night dinner party, which is to be held in The Adventurer's Club in the soon-to-be closed Pleasure Island section of Disney World's Downtown Disney district. Trahan and her husband Russell are Central Florida residents.
Trahan also shares with listeners her impression of her first meeting with NFFC Disney Legend Joe Rohde, the Walt Disney Imagineer who designed The Adventurer's Club.
Anita Schaengold and Chuck Oberleitner discuss her stepping down as NFFC Vice President of Publicity to become Chair of the newly created Special Events Committee. Schaengold will now focus on creation and promotion of such organization activities as last April's Tokyo Disneyland 25th Anniversary event.
Oberleitner, who joined the NFFC board, replacing Schaengold as V.P. of Publicity, talks about the new title his office will have: Vice President Media Relations and Communications. Additionally, he describes some of the many benefits of becoming a member of the NFFC.

About the NFFC
The National Fantasy Fan Club is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and sharing the rich legacy of Walt Disney. Our common goal is to provide Disneyana enthusiasts around the world with news, information, and events that enhance their experience with, and love of, all things Disney.
This goal is achieved through the publication of a member newsletter, the Fantasy Line Express, and by organizing local NFFC chapters, where members trade information, learn more about their favorite collectables, hold group outings and activities, and just have FUN!
By far the biggest and most popular means of expanding the magic are the NFFC Western and Eastern Disneyana Conventions, where members are informed and entertained by Imagineers, animators, entertainers, authors, and artists from every facet of the Walt Disney Company, along with many outside Disney authorities. Additionally, the All Disneyana Show and Sales, which are open to the public, provide an unparalleled experience for Disneyana and autograph collectors alike.
