Tony Baxter and Margaret Kerry Among Part of Their World Dinner Participants

Imagine having dinner with Imagineer (and NFFC Disney Legend) Tony Baxter or with Margaret Kerry, the original model for Tinker Bell. It could happen this weekend, as both Disney celebrities have just confirmed their participation in the NFFC's Part of Their World Dinner on January 13.
The dinner offers guests the chance to hear stories about Disney history, get behind-the-scenes information about their favorite Disney movie or theme park attraction and more. Notables confirmed so far include:
  • Tony Baxter, the Imagineer whose many credits include Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, the original Journey Into Imagination at Epcot and much of Disneyland Paris.
  • Margaret Kerry, the original model for Tinker Bell (and for one of the mermaids) in Peter Pan.
  • Artist Elizabeth Gomes, whose ceramic work (such as vases and chargers) is hugely popular with Disney fans
  • Disneyland food service executive Karlos Sequeiros, who will appear with his colleague Oscar Martinez.
Additional Disney notables will be announced.
Disney notables will be seated randomly at tables, and everyone will have ample time to meet all our Disney guests. It's a great chance to get autographs, take pictures and make new friends. The evening includes a sit-down dinner (tenderloin of beef in a wild mushroom Madeira sauce and pecan-crusted chicken), a silent auction to benefit charity, door prizes and more. The price for the evening is $75 per person; you must be an NFFC member to participate.
The evening begins at 5:00 and will be held at the Crowne Plaza (at the corner of Chapman and Harbor in Garden Grove, just a short drive from Disneyland.)

The NFFC's hospitality suite will be open after dinner, and the World's Largest Disneyana Show and Sale will be held on Sunday at the Crowne Plaza.
